Q&A Heart of England Birmingham Convention 2026

Please reach us at loveheartofengland@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question in our Q&A.

For almost 40 years, we’ve come together in love, unity, and recovery, with the majority of the conventions being held at Hilton Birmingham Metropole. Our theme is love, and the convention is by AA's, for AA's about AA with Al-Anon participation. Book under our convention rate and your stay includes breakfastand eveningfellowship meals, reduced parking, leisure access, and your guaranteed convention pass (£10 per person booked on our Hilton convention rate).

Visitor passes (people not booked on our Hilton booking code) may be released later—but only if our Hilton contract is met. Don’t miss the fellowship, the laughter, the Thursday Early Birds, the platforms, workshops, activities , the raffle, and the rooms full of recovery. Be part of it. Book your place in the heart of it all.

Registration opens 4pm 23rd July 2026 and the convention finishes at 1.30pm on Sunday 26th July.

Getting Here is Easy
The Hilton Birmingham Metropole couldn’t be better connected:

  • Just minutes from Birmingham International Airport. Take the free SkyRail into the NEC, then it’s a 10–12 min walk to the Hilton—or grab a taxi from outside the station. Note: taxis direct from the airport attract an extra airport charge—take the short shuttle to Birmingham International Station first to avoid this.

  • By Train: Arrive at Birmingham International Station, then follow the NEC walkway to the hotel, or a short taxi ride readily available outside the station.

  • By Coach: National Express and Megabus serve Birmingham Airport/NEC—again, just a short walk to the Hilton, or a short taxi ride readily available outside the station.

  • By Car: The hotel is right off the M42, with on-site parking reduced to £11 for your whole stay for residents on our rate only . If visitor passes are released, visitor parking is £11 per day. Directions.

Please note: the old Hilton shuttle bus no longer runs.

Getting here is simple—leaving the fellowship once you’ve arrived is the hard part.

Breakfast, fellowship evening meal, parking at £11 for your full stay (only for residents booked on our code), complimentary access to leisure & sauna facilities, guaranteed event pass for guests booked (£10 each), free raffle ticket and goody bag.

Our booking code is available until 15th July 2026.

The opening platform starts at 9pm on Friday 24th July 2026.

Click the booking link on our Book Hotel page and choose your room type. You’ll be taken to the Hilton site, where the “1” in the Special Rates section is already applied for you.
